Plant is the general term used to describe construction machinery. Commonly referred to as things like diggers, dumpers, excavators, rollers, cranes and forklifts. We offer a range of excavators from 1.0 tonne all the way to 20+ tonne. Telehandlers from 4 metre to 17 metre and dumpers from 1 Tonne to 9 tonne. Get in touch for a friendly chat about your requirements. We operate throughout Wiltshire and Nationwide and can often help re-hire items required even if we don't stock it.
This all depends on different things such as the type of job, the requirements and any access restrictions. We have a full range of machines from compact machines to earthmovers for quarry operations. We recommend you get in touch for advice, and we can help to advise which machine is suitable for the job.
With a fleet of transport vehicles at our disposal, delivery can usually be arranged within a matter of hours. We can offer a quote on delivery based on the machine size and distance it needs to be transported. Get in touch for a friendly chat to organise delivery for your plant hire.
Yes, our minimum hire period is one day. Some of our larger machines may have a minimum hire period of one week. Please get in touch for details.
It is your responsibility to have the correct insurance. Clients are advised to ensure they have ‘hired-in’ plant insurance. For a small hire period, we understand that this may not be possible. If this is the case, get in touch and we can help provide advice.
We have a reputation built on two things; speed and quality. We aim to have the tidiest and safest machines while also moving as quickly as we can to get machines to our clients. More importantly, we try & react quickly if our customers experience problems with our plant hire. Get in touch for a competitive quote on an excellent plant hire service.
A week is considered to be a working week, Monday to Friday. We also have weekend hire rates and day rates if that is a better fit with your requirements. Contact us for details if you want to hire for 3 days or more, as a weekly hire charge would be cheaper for you than a daily rate.
We can get one of our fitters out to you to replace a track. The cost to do this depends on the time to do the job and distance. Costing anywhere from £30 + VAT to a local job for a small machine up to £100 + VAT for an 8 tonne machine. Machines over 8 tonne would cost more.
This would incur a weekend charge on top of your weekly charge. However if you intend to keep the machine into the following week we usually don't charge for the weekend. (Entirely at our discretion).
We can arrange for a fitter to attend but this cost would be charged to you. The cost to repair a puncture is usually around £60 + VAT
We don’t usually charge if the machine receives minor scratches, but serious damage such as dents, scratches to rams, panels or other parts would, unfortunately, result in a repair bill.
Our delivery charges cover the cost of drivers, fuel and the trucks, allowing us to keep our hire rates a lot lower than other companies. These companies may be able to offer free delivery, but you will find the cost of hiring is a lot more. Get in touch to get a quote today.
Our machines will be delivered to you full of fuel. Your hire cost does not include fuel unless you specifically ask us to include it. You should return the machine full of fuel. If we have to refuel, we will charge you to refill the tank. Ask us about fuel bowsers for short or long-term hire contracts which will save you time and money.
We always love to hear from our clients and there are a few different ways you can get in touch. Take a look at our contact page to fill out our contact form or give us a call.
